Moucharabieh Wrap Jumpsuit (جمبسوت مشربية)

A rectangle of printed crepe sits across the bust — the only colour in an otherwise all-black garment. Below it the front opens at the waist, so the jumpsuit reads as a crop top and trousers from the front while the back stays a single closed line. The trousers gather full from a fitted waistband and draw in at buttoned cuffs, and the wrap scarf skirt included with the set lays a second, asymmetric hem over them.

MATERIAL
Printed crepe, 98% polyester / 2% lycra. Black soft fabric, 98% polyester / 2% lycra.

The wrap is the variable here: knotted low it holds a long, drapey line over the trousers and reads as a skirt; taken off, the buttoned cuffs can be raised so the volume gathers up at the calf and the shape turns rounder and shorter. The printed panel is the only pattern in the set, so it works best left alone at the top of the body with nothing crossing the chest.

Within Zellij Drift, this is the piece built to be reconfigured — the same garment gives several proportions depending on the wrap and the cuffs. It also holds the collection's print in one contained rectangle rather than spreading it across the whole body.
