Agadir Cascade Top (أغادير كاسكيد)

A single length of velvet crosses the body on the diagonal — gathered at the shoulders, folding into a deep V at the neck, then travelling down and across to finish in a soft overlap above the hem band. The sleeves are cut wide and open, hanging free from the shoulder and leaving the upper arm exposed, so the drape reads as one continuous movement rather than a set of separate panels.

MATERIAL
Velvet, 88% polyester / 12% elastane.

The drape adds width across the chest and the sleeves add more at the shoulder, so the balance depends on what happens below the hem band — a high waist directly under it keeps the diagonal reading as a line rather than a bulk. Velvet pile shifts tone as it moves, which means the overlapping folds catch light differently from the flat panels; leave them uncrossed by straps.

Within Zellij Drift, this is the short piece that works the collection's draping at close range — the same diagonal logic as its longer velvet styles, compressed into a top. It also brings the collection's lime velvet to a length that sits over trousers and skirts.
